The home was designed around the owners desire to have an accessible home and be able to have large gatherings of family and friends to take advantage of its lakefront location. The main room of the home is entered at grade level on the street side and is oriented toward the lake with the other rooms housed under simple shed roofs to either side with an ample deck along the lakeside of the house. This simple layout was an effective way to realize the owner's goals.
