This project designed for Findlay St Christian Church is to be a sustainably built mixed use facility of 12 affordable apartments over a church. The project is designed with a robust thermal envelope and natural daylighting and ventilation in order to minimize energy use. The project is designed to minimize water consumption and includes in addition to the usual low flow fixtures a rainwater harvesting system. The roof will be developed as a roof garden for the residents with a green roof and terrace to take advantage of the expansive views from the site.
